Shaun the founder and main guide hails from Scotland and worked in bike shops for several years before opening one of his own. He has been trained and assessed by the Scottish Mountain Bike Leaders Accociation and holds both Trail Cycle Leader and Mountain Bike Leader qualifications, he holds a British Association of Ski Patrolers first aid certificate specific to outdoor and mountain environments, he has written about Sierra Nevada for mountain bike magazines in the U.K. and U.S. and recently starred in the blockbuster mtb movie "Fresh Snow Mojito"

Durita is a guide. Lucky for us she's on our side! Durita is from the Faroe Islands and has sailed round the world, written two books, is a Master of Anthropology and a mother. She took second place in the 08 Sierra Nevada "Sin Limite" mtb marathon and is regularly found standing on podiums after races. Don't mess!

Csilla is a fixer and an organiser, without whom we would have all sorts of wrong going on. Csilla is from England and by coincidence she also is a Master of Anthropology and Archaeology and mother not to mention a 5 star sandwich creator, (check Bikemagic reviews for evidence). Csilla is the hub of the Ride Sierra Nevada team.


Lee is a guide and Scotish womans XC Champion 2009. Lee also runs cycle therapy workshops and is the founder of Ride Highland holiday company. In between all that she is a carpenter, builder, bike mechanic and drummer. Lee runs the Ride Sierra Nevada training camps throughout the winter season. Congratulations to Lee for a fantastic 2009 race season.
